👎🏼 👎👎Very disappointed with my experience. Melissa left her previous firm after my first case, and I gave her another chance. Unfortunately, Erika then failed to properly address one of the two matters I specifically hired them for, while I continued being billed from my $4,000 retainer.

I expected transparency, communication, and accountability. Instead, I felt let down as a client. Less focus on social media and image, and more focus on taking care of the people who trust you with their cases.

Erika was extremely disappointing. She rushed through my case, acted like she had all the answers, but dismissed an issue I specifically hired the firm to handle without properly addressing my documentation. I had an excellent experience working with Erika at Kuffel Law. She was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping me through the entire process. I had a wonderful experience working with Melissa and her team and would absolutely recommend them. Melissa was fairly priced, incredibly responsive, empathetic, and very strong willed when it came to advocating for me. She is definitely a “girls’ girl,” and I genuinely felt like she was in my corner throughout the entire process.

As a minority woman with a disability, I’ve unfortunately been in situations where I’ve felt dismissed or treated as less than, but Melissa and her team never once made me feel that way. I always felt heard, respected, and taken seriously.

What I appreciate most is how strongly Melissa advocated for my best interests. I was prepared to walk away without receiving anything, and if it weren’t for her knowledge and persistence, I probably would have. Instead, she was able to secure compensation for me that I otherwise would not have received.

Melissa is compassionate while still being tough when she needs to be, quick to respond, and genuinely cares about the people she represents. Her entire team was helpful throughout the process, and I’m incredibly grateful I had them on my side.

Kuffel Law is the best! The team lead by Melissa is exactly what we needed. Melissa is smart, carrying and efficient with her time. In the end she goes the extra mile, fights hard for you when you need it and always has her clients best interests as her top priority. No one ever wants a lawyer, and it's especially hard when one is going through a divorce or family situation, but Melissa made a sad, tough situation really tolerable.
